This is a plain-language description of what Home Readiness collects, how that information is used, and the choices you have. It is written to be consistent with our Trust & Privacy page and our Terms of Service.
Account information: your email address, and authentication details handled by our sign-in provider (email/password or sign-in with Google). Assessment answers you enter in the app. Photos you choose to upload. Reports generated from your answers. Basic app usage and security information such as timestamps, error logs, and abuse-prevention signals.
We do collect personal information — this page does not claim otherwise. We simply try to keep it to the minimum needed to run the service.
We only require the minimum information needed for account access and app functionality. The app does not require your name, phone number, date of birth, address, diagnosis, medication list, medical history, insurance information, or a patient name to create an account.
Please do not upload or enter unnecessary sensitive information: patient names, diagnoses, medication lists, medical records, insurance or financial information, Social Security numbers, faces, documents, medication labels, or addresses. Photos should show the room or feature being assessed, not people or paperwork.
To create and maintain your account and verify your email address; to generate your assessments and reports; to run AI-assisted photo review when you choose to use it; to provide support; to maintain security and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse; and to improve the reliability and quality of the app.
Non-personal data means information that does not reasonably identify an individual user, household, account, uploaded photo, or report. This includes de-identified and aggregated assessment answers, objective home-safety findings, trends, benchmarks, and usage statistics.
Home Readiness may use, process, analyze, share, publish, license, sell, or otherwise commercialize non-personal data for any purpose, including reporting, research, business analytics, product development, marketing, and partnerships, only to the extent permitted by applicable law. This applies only to non-personal data.
We do not sell identifiable user data, email addresses, uploaded photos, individual assessment answers, individual reports, account information, or raw user-level records in a form that reasonably identifies a person, household, or account.
Photos are stored in private storage scoped to your account and are used to support your assessment, photo review, AI-assisted safety review if selected, and report generation. We do not sell uploaded photos and do not use identifiable photos for marketing, testimonials, case studies, or public examples without separate permission.
You retain rights to your personal information, assessment answers, uploaded photos, and reports. Home Readiness controls and operates the app, software, scoring framework, educational content, report templates, and business operations. By using the app you give Home Readiness permission to store, process, analyze, display, and generate reports from the information you provide for the purpose of operating the service.
The app runs on the Lovable Cloud platform, which uses Supabase for authentication, database, and storage. These providers host and process data on our behalf. They do not own user-submitted assessment data. We may also use standard providers for email delivery and error monitoring.
We keep your account data while your account is active and for as long as needed to operate the service. You may request access to, export of, or deletion of your account data by contacting support. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backups, or legitimate business records.
Deleting identifiable account data does not necessarily require deletion of non-personal, de-identified, or aggregated information that no longer reasonably identifies an individual user, household, account, uploaded photo, or report, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS, accounts require email verification, and access to assessments, photos, and reports is restricted to the account that created them, enforced server-side. No online service can promise perfect security, so we describe the controls we use rather than guarantee outcomes.
Depending on your location — for example under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, or other state or national privacy laws — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain disclosures. Contact us to exercise those rights.
Questions or privacy requests: contact support at the address shown in the app footer. (Support email placeholder — replace with your published support address before launch.)
We may update this page as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated review date.
This page is provided for transparency and general information. Full legal review is recommended before public launch, monetization, or commercial use of aggregated or non-personal insights.
